MOLTON Inc. integrates Digital Agency database into Cloud Legal AI

MOLTON Inc. has launched a beta version of an enhanced AI-driven legal research feature for its Cloud Legal service. The update integrates directly with the Digital Agency’s ‘e-Gov Laws Search’ database, allowing the Legal AI agent to reference official Japanese statutes in real time.

As an initial rollout, the feature focuses on corporate law. The AI provides answers that include specific citations, such as article numbers and references to professional practical guides, textbooks, and official guidelines used by practicing lawyers and specialists. This is intended to provide high-accuracy support for tasks like board meeting preparations, M&A, and compliance.

The company plans to expand this capability to other legal fields, including personal information protection, labor standards, and financial regulations, by incorporating specialized professional knowledge into the AI’s reference database.
