Momenta, XHEART, and QNX partner on global autonomous driving platform

Momenta, XHEART, and QNX (a division of BlackBerry Limited) have announced a collaboration to develop a production-ready autonomous driving platform designed to meet global safety standards.

The integrated solution combines Momenta’s full-stack autonomous driving algorithms, XHEART’s X7 automotive-grade System-on-Chip (SoC), and the QNX OS for Safety, which is built on QNX SDP 8.0. The platform has achieved ISO 26262 ASIL D certification, the highest level of functional safety, making it suitable for international markets including those requiring compliance with Europe’s UN R171 (Driver Control Assistance Systems).

The partnership aims to provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with a scalable and high-performance foundation for deploying advanced driver assistance systems and Physical AI technologies globally.
