MOMO releases new GT50 steering wheels, SPEED PRO racing shoes and PRO RACING 6‑point seatbelt in Japan
Italian car‑accessories brand MOMO, distributed in Japan by Rarez, announced three new products in July. On 21 July it will launch two 50‑anniversary steering wheels, the GT50 2.0 and the GT50 2.0 Black Edition, both 350 mm in diameter and priced at ¥102,300 and ¥112,200 respectively. The GT50 2.0 features a carbon‑fiber‑reinforced centre spoke and a leather‑and‑micro‑fibre grip with yellow leather accents; the Black Edition uses a fully black theme with black leather trims.
A week earlier, on 15 July, MOMO will introduce the SPEED PRO racing shoe and the PRO RACING 6P six‑point seatbelt. The SPEED PRO shoe weighs about 200 g, uses flame‑retardant aramid fabric with kangaroo‑leather reinforcement, and meets FIA 8856‑2018 standards; it sells for ¥51,700. The PRO RACING 6P seatbelt incorporates aluminium adjusters, a uniform 2‑inch strap, and complies with FIA 8853‑2016; it is available in four colours and costs ¥56,100.
