Moms for Liberty launches AI system to monitor school board agendas

Moms for Liberty, a prominent parental rights organization, has launched a digital surveillance system called M4L AWARE (Agenda Watch, Alert, Response, and Engage) to monitor school board agendas across approximately 13,000 U.S. school districts.

The system utilizes artificial intelligence to scan agendas every 12 hours, ranking items on a scale of one to 10 based on their perceived impact on curriculum, transparency, and First Amendment rights. The organization aims to identify policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), gender policies, transgenderism, and Title IX violations.

When high-priority items are flagged, the system provides local chapters with plain-language summaries and alerts. This is intended to give parents a roughly 72-hour window to organize, sign up for public comments, and mobilize legal challenges against policies they believe infringe upon parental rights.
