Mom's Touch hits 20 stores in Mongolia, ranks second among QSR chains
Mom's Touch, the Korean quick‑service restaurant brand, opened its 20th outlet in Mongolia (the Nomin Macro store) less than three years after entering the market in April 2023. The expansion lifts the chain to second place in Mongolia by store count, behind KFC and ahead of Burger King, which operates 18 stores.
The brand has been adding an average of 6.2 new locations per year – roughly 2.5 to 3 times faster than its main competitors – and plans to reach 25 stores by the end of the year, with an ambition to become the market leader by the end of next year. Mom's Touch offers burgers, chicken and pizza in a single venue; pizza is now sold in half of its Mongolian outlets and accounts for over 20% of sales. The company tailors its menu and store formats to local preferences, operating both large family‑oriented sites and smaller neighbourhood locations across urban, residential and school districts.
