Mon Laferte recounts past misconduct allegation on Rojo

Singer Mon Laferte has shared details regarding a traumatic experience she faced during her time on the television program Rojo. In a recent interview, the artist recounted an incident involving former producer Jaime Román, who she alleges kissed her without consent after offering her a ride from a recording studio.

Laferte stated that the incident left her in shock and fearful of speaking out at the time, believing she would not be believed. She eventually approached then-producer Rafael Araneda and the late director Eduardo Domínguez to request to leave the program, citing the incident as a primary reason for her departure. While Araneda later reached out to offer an apology, claiming he did not remember the event, Laferte noted that the support she sought at the time never materialized.
