MoN Takanawa to host immersive music live show PROJECT LAYRA

MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives, located within Tokyo’s Takanawa Gateway City, is expanding its cultural programming with the upcoming immersive music live show, “Belle - PROJECT LAYRA -”. Scheduled to begin on October 10, 2026, the event is a spin-off story set five years after the animated film “Belle”. The production features a new character, LAYRA, portrayed by five vocalists: miwa, Natsumi Kon, Konomi Suzuki, Miki Maria, and ASCA.

To mark the project, the song “Watashi wa LAYRA” has been released, produced by TeddyLoid and Ryota Saito. The music video combines animation from the original film with 3DCG. The live performance will utilize the MoN Takanawa Box1000 space to simulate a massive virtual music festival called “Utopia”.

Designed by Kengo Kuma, the MoN Takanawa museum serves as a cultural node within the broader urban redevelopment project led by East Japan Railway Company. The institution aims to integrate art, science, and technology through fluid architecture, featuring terraced gardens, a cafe, and an open-air terrace.
