Mona Singh begins filming new UK-based project

Actress Mona Singh has begun filming a new movie project in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is described as an unconventional project that aims to break away from traditional cinematic tropes.

Set in Britain during the early 1990s, the story explores the rise of the UK Punjabi music movement. The narrative focuses on a generation growing up between cultures, tracing the era of underground gigs, pirate radio stations, and garage music. The production features an ensemble cast including Mona Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Alizeh Agnihotri, alongside various international musicians and performers.
