Monaco reaffirms commitment to Council of Europe values

Prince Albert II and Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, represented Monaco at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg from September 28 to October 2, 2026.

During his address to the Assembly on October 1, Prince Albert II reaffirmed Monaco’s commitment to the rule of law, justice, and the protection of fundamental freedoms. He emphasized the necessity of multilateralism to address interconnected global crises. Additionally, the Prince advocated for continued dialogue within the Council regarding the potential recognition of the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.
