Monaco royals honor 10,000th citizen at city hall ceremony

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco hosted a ceremony at the Monaco City Hall on September 30, 2026, to honor the birth of the principality’s 10,000th citizen.

The milestone celebrates the birth of Anna Ella Carlevaris, who was born in June. During the reception, the royal couple presented the infant’s parents, Camille and Simon Carlevaris, with a certificate and a city medal.

Princess Charlene engaged personally with the three-month-old infant and her mother, discussing topics such as the Monégasque education system and sports activities. The event marked a significant demographic milestone for the nation.
