Monaco's Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurate IDA nursery

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco officially inaugurated the new IDA nursery located within the Héméra estate in the Condamine district. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Minister of State Christophe Mirmand and Mayor Georges Marsan.

The facility, which has been operational since September 2, covers 700 square meters and provides 30 places for children. It is managed by a team of 13 professionals and includes a 140-square-meter terrace. The name ‘IDA’ honors a former villa that once stood on the site.

The project is part of a joint initiative between the City of Monaco and the State to address the evolving needs of early childhood care through 2030. This strategy involves integrating childcare facilities into new residential construction projects to anticipate future demand.
