Monaki and Kazuyoshi Sakai attend ‘BOSS’ film dubbing event

Members of the vocal group Monaki and Junretsu leader Kazuyoshi Sakai appeared at a live dubbing event in Tokyo for the Japanese release of the South Korean comedy film ‘BOSS’. The film, which was a major hit in South Korea, follows a group of gang members attempting to avoid inheriting the leadership role after their boss's sudden death.

During the event, Sakai commented on the group's lack of a formal leader, noting that Monaki might remain without one for the next decade to avoid the pressures of management. Sakai also jokingly expressed initial concerns regarding the articulation of Monaki member Oyone, though he noted that the live performance was successful.

The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release in Japan on October 23.
