Monaki member Oyone's real name revealed on TV Asahi

During the October 5 broadcast of the TV Asahi variety program ‘Kanmuri Monaki’, the real name of Oyone, a member of the musical group Monaki, was unexpectedly revealed.

The disclosure occurred during a segment featuring a survey of the members' families. While reading a letter from Oyone’s father regarding his son’s childhood and habits, the host, comedian Shintaro Morimoto, mentioned the name ‘Shuhei’. When asked if he had officially disclosed his real name, Oyone responded nonchalantly, ‘I haven’t disclosed it, but I think it’s fine.’

The segment also revealed that despite traveling to Hawaii three times, Oyone remains largely unfamiliar with the location because he preferred spending his free time at game centers during those trips.
