Monaki secures first solo NHK program

The four-member musical group Monaki has secured its first solo program on NHK. The special program, titled ‘Monaki no Ima ga Sono Toki! ~Chance wa Itsu demo Soko ni aru!~’, will air on both radio and television.

Centered on the theme of ‘second chances’, the program will feature members Oyone, Jin, Sakai Jr., and Kenken sharing personal experiences and responding to messages from listeners who are pursuing new dreams after facing setbacks. The broadcast will be hosted by announcer Shigeyoshi Goto.

In separate media coverage, the group’s variety program ‘Kanmuri Monaki’ on TV Asahi continues to showcase their activities. Recent episodes have featured the group participating in location shoots at karaoke venues, including a segment where member Oyone performed harmonies alongside customers singing Ado’s ‘Show’ (唱).
