Monbus Obradoiro signs Michael Caicedo for preseason training

Monbus Obradoiro has reached an agreement with forward Michael Caicedo to join the team’s summer preseason training. The arrangement is a temporary one-month tactical solution rather than a permanent roster addition.

The move is intended to maintain training intensity and volume during the upcoming FIBA window in late August. During this period, the team will be missing five players—Diogo Brito, Efe Abogidi, Joel Soriano, Leo Meindl, and Caleb Agada—who have been called up to their respective national teams.

Caicedo, a 23-year-old 1.98-meter forward with experience in FC Barcelona’s youth academy, will assist the squad for thirty days before the international players return and the player seeks a permanent destination.
