Monclova and Eagle Pass begin sister city partnership process

Monclova Mayor Carlos Villarreal and Eagle Pass Mayor Aarón Valdez have initiated the process to establish a sister city relationship between the two cities. The initiative aims to create a permanent collaborative bond to foster development and new opportunities for both communities.

Supported by Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez, the proposed partnership focuses on cooperation in several key sectors, including economic development, education, culture, sports, and institutional coordination. Officials from both cities, including Eagle Pass City Manager Homero Balderas, met to establish the groundwork for formalizing the agreement and ensuring ongoing communication to identify mutually beneficial projects.
