Monclova authorities deliver over 150 low-cost wills
The Government of Coahuila, the Monclova City Council, and the College of Notaries have delivered more than 150 wills to families in the Centro-Desierto region to provide legal and patrimonial certainty. This initiative, which includes the Municipal DIF, aims to facilitate the regularization of testamentary wills and protect family assets through preferential notary fees.
Mayor Carlos Villarreal Pérez reported that the program has also provided over 300 legal consultations to citizens. The strategy, launched in September under the leadership of Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, is designed to help residents clearly designate the destination of their property and prevent future family conflicts. The program intends to extend its services to 13 municipalities within the region through continued coordination between government authorities and legal professionals.
