Monclova City Council approves 2027 financial projects

The Monclova City Council has unanimously approved the general framework for the 2027 revenue law and expenditure budget. During the 50th ordinary session, the council reviewed financial planning documents prepared by the Commission of Finance, Patrimony, and Public Account, led by councilman Jorge Carlos Mata López.

In addition to the budget and revenue projections, the council approved updated unit values for land and construction for the 2027 fiscal year, following prior authorization by the Municipal Cadastral Board. Mayor Carlos Villarreal stated that these measures aim to ensure efficient and transparent administration to meet the needs of local families.

The council also authorized a temporary change of venue for a solemn session to be held in October at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Monclova to commemorate the institution's 30th anniversary.
