Monclova offers trips to Mazatlán for compliant property taxpayers

The municipality of Monclova is offering incentives to citizens who are up to date with their property tax (predial) payments. As part of a quarterly closing initiative, the city will hold a raffle for trips to Mazatlán for couples.

Revenue Director Amador Garza announced that the number of winners will be determined based on the allocated budget, with the announcement expected after mid-September. Citizens who paid their taxes earlier in the year receive more entries; those who paid in January receive three opportunities, while February payers receive two.

In addition to the raffle, the municipality continues to offer the condonation of surcharges for the last five years throughout September. Installment payment options are also available until November to assist citizens in regularizing their accounts. Garza noted that while September collections are approximately 100,000 pesos lower than the previous year, a higher number of properties have been paid compared to the same period in 2025.
