Monclova to host third Dafne Quintero Archery Open in 2027

The third edition of the Dafne Quintero Archery Open has been announced, scheduled to take place from January 27 to 31, 2027, in Monclova, Coahuila. The event will transition to an indoor format to avoid the cold weather conditions experienced during previous editions.

The tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of 280,000 pesos and will serve as part of the national selection process. Competition categories include Open, U21, U18, U15, 50 and over, as well as Barebow.

Officials, including Monclova Mayor Carlos Villarreal and representatives from World Archery México, presented the event in Saltillo. The tournament is part of a regional strategy to promote sports tourism and economic growth in the Central Region of Mexico. Registration is expected to open in early October.
