Moncofa to restore new section of medieval walls

The Moncofa City Council is proceeding with the restoration of a new section of its medieval walls located on San Roque Street. To facilitate this, the municipal plenary will approve a budget modification of 17,956.40 euros to fund the drafting of the basic and execution projects.

This initiative follows previous efforts that successfully recovered approximately 200 meters of the wall between Trinidad and San Roque streets. The new section, currently hidden under a layer of lime, is believed to be in good condition. The upcoming project will allow technicians to study its state and define the necessary restoration criteria to return this historical heritage to public view.
