Mondraker launches 2027 Dusty electric gravel bike with new central motor

Mondraker unveiled the 2027 Dusty, a fully redesigned electric gravel bike built around a carbon Stealth Air frame that weighs 1.71 kg (M/L size) and, together with the fork, totals about 2.2 kg. The bike now incorporates a German‑made TQ HPR60 drive unit delivering 60 Nm of torque and up to 350 W of peak power, providing up to 200 % pedal assistance. Battery options include a 580 Wh pack (or 360 Wh) with a 160 Wh range extender, all hidden inside the diagonal tube. The design adds a flat‑handlebar version and supports wider 700×50c tires, making the Dusty an “all‑round” bike aimed at fast gravel, rugged off‑road, bike‑packing trips and everyday commuting. Integration features such as the Hidden Housing Guide keep cables inside the steering tube, while the rear axle uses a 12×142 mm hub and flat‑mount brake. Mondraker describes the platform as a completely new project rather than an update, targeting a broader set of uses than the original 2023 model.
