Monero network hashrate nears all-time high amid price surge

The Monero (XMR) network hashrate has reached approximately 93.6% of its all-time high, climbing to roughly 7.06 GH/s. This represents a 12.93% increase over the last 30 days and a 31.31% increase over the last 90 days.

Parallel to the rise in computing power, Monero's price has seen significant growth, increasing by over 70% within the past year. Despite this momentum, the asset remains below its January peak of approximately $798, trading around the $600 mark.

Data indicates a concentration of mining power, with the top three mining pools—SupportXMR, NanoPool, and Klaytn—accounting for 60% of the total hashrate. While Monero utilizes the RandomX algorithm to encourage decentralized CPU mining, the concentration in major pools remains a point of observation for the network's decentralization goals.
