Money Forward i launches Admina Tracker for PC monitoring

Money Forward i Co., Ltd. has released ‘Admina Tracker’, an agent-based software designed to monitor and visualize PC usage for macOS and Windows devices. The tool integrates with the ‘Money Forward Admina’ SaaS and device management platform to collect data on installed tools, hardware specifications, and OS versions.

Unlike browser-based extensions, Admina Tracker can detect applications used outside of web browsers, helping companies identify ‘shadow IT’ and unauthorized software. It also records hardware details such as CPU, memory, and serial numbers, as well as system events like USB device connections, logons, and sleep/wake cycles to assist in data leak prevention.

The software supports bulk deployment via Microsoft Intune and operates in the background with automatic updates. Money Forward i intends to expand functionality in the future, including automated notifications via Slack or email based on specific device conditions.
