Monfalcone expands school bus service for 2026/2027

The Municipality of Monfalcone is expanding its school bus service for the 2026/2027 school year. A new route has been added to serve the Cuzzi and Battisti schools, increasing the total number of students transported daily to 264.

The expansion includes several specific lines: Line 1/A will serve 56 children for the Duca d’Aosta and Battisti schools; Line 2/A will carry 52 students to Toti; Line 3/A1 will transport 41 children to Duca d’Aosta and Sauro; Line 3/A2 will serve 26 children for Cuzzi and Battisti; and Line 4/A will accommodate 54 students for Cuzzi. Additionally, 35 kindergarten students will be included in the service.

Mayor Luca Fasan stated that the service provides essential support for daily organization and helps parents balance work and life. The administration also confirmed that current tariffs will remain unchanged to avoid additional economic burdens on families.
