Monforts ATC provides advanced fabric finishing and testing services

The Monforts Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) in Mönchengladbach, Germany, provides global customers with resources for achieving new standards in fabric finishing. The 1,200-square-metre facility houses two MONTEX finishing lines designed for diverse processes, a THERMEX range for continuous dyeing of denim and woven fabrics, a colour kitchen, and lab-scale systems for small batch trials.

The center allows clients to test textiles and technical fabrics under confidential, real production conditions. This testing enables Monforts to provide recommendations for improving fabric finishes.

A specialized MONTEX line is dedicated to technical textiles, which include substrates for digital printing, carbon fabrics for high-performance composites, filter media for extreme temperatures, and flame-retardant barrier fabrics. The facility is designed to allow manufacturers to switch quickly between different fabric formulas to ensure efficiency and flexibility without compromising energy or raw material use.
