Mongaguá police dismantle drug trafficking operation in abandoned house
Police in Mongaguá, São Paulo, dismantled a drug trafficking operation operating out of an abandoned house in the Vila Atlântica neighborhood. The discovery occurred during a routine patrol by the 29th Military Police Battalion.
Officers observed two individuals acting suspiciously in front of the property. Upon seeing the police vehicle, one suspect, a minor, attempted to discard a plastic bag containing illegal substances into the house, while the other attempted to flee to the rear of the building.
Following the intervention, authorities seized over 270 pre-packaged portions of drugs intended for quick sale to users, along with a volume of cash. The suspect eventually confessed to using the abandoned residence as a point of sale for various illegal substances.
