Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano begins Serie A3 season against Trebaseleghe

Monge-Gerbaudo Savigliano is set to begin its sixth season in the Serie A3 Credem Banca, hosting Sav Trebaseleghe at PalaSanGiorgio for the first match of the Girone Bianco. Following a difficult playout series last season to maintain their position, the Piedmontese club has undergone a significant roster overhaul, retaining only three players from the previous season to integrate more young talent.

Coach Andrea Berra emphasized the importance of home support to manage the uncertainties of the season opener. The visiting Venetian side, Trebaseleghe, also enters the season with a renewed roster under head coach Maria Ilaria Donadi, blending youth with experienced players such as central Enrico Pilotto.

Other regional sports updates include Concordia Handball Agrigento making its historic debut in the Serie B handball championship against Il Giovinetto, and Avimec Modica preparing for its first Serie A3 match against BCC Tecbus Castellana.
