The Mongolian falcon auction, held as part of the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 in Riyadh, has seen significant sales over recent nights.
During the second night of the auction, two Saker falcons were sold for a total of 350,000 riyals, with one bird fetching 250,000 riyals and the other 100,000 riyals. On the third night, sales increased, with two Saker falcons selling for a combined total of 476,000 riyals. This included a Saker falcon sold for 360,000 riyals and another for 116,000 riyals.
The exhibition, organized by the National Falcons Center, features a dedicated Mongolian falcon zone for the second consecutive year. These birds are highly valued by falconers in the Kingdom and the wider region due to their large size, long wingspans, endurance, and varied colorations. The event is being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham through October 10.
