Monika Laskowska removed as Warsaw Uprising ambassador following controversy

Monika Laskowska, an influencer known for her presence on OnlyFans and involvement in freak-fight events, has faced significant backlash after being named an ‘Ambassador of Memory’ for the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. The role was assigned by the Warszawa’44 Association, which selected various figures from sports, culture, and the internet to promote the historical event.

Following public criticism, the Warszawa’44 Association terminated its collaboration with Laskowska. In a statement, Laskowska defended her involvement by citing her family’s patriotic traditions and their history of fighting for freedom during World War II.

The controversy has also raised questions regarding the funding of the Warszawa’44 Association. Reports indicate that the organization receives support from state-controlled entities, including PGE and the LOTTO Foundation, which serve as major partners. The involvement of these institutions in an initiative that included an adult content creator has drawn scrutiny regarding the nature and decision-making processes behind their financial support.
