Monika Wielichowska visits Nowa Ruda-Radków region

Monika Wielichowska, Vice-Marshal of the Sejm, conducted a visit to the Nowa Ruda-Radków region to discuss local development and community needs. During her trip, she met with local leaders, including Mayor Tomasz Kiliński of Nowa Ruda, Mayor Jan Bednarczyk of Radków, and Mayor Adrianna Mierzejewska of the Nowa Ruda Commune.

The visit highlighted several major infrastructure projects in Nowa Ruda. Key investments include the construction of a new headquarters for Noworudzkie Usługi Komunalne (NUK), valued at over 14 million PLN, which includes 10 million PLN in EU funding. Additionally, a modernization project for the swimming pool at the Centrum Turystyczno-Sportowe (CTS) in Słupiec is underway, involving approximately 6.73 million PLN from the National Recovery Plan and regional sports infrastructure programs. Other noted projects include a new fire station for the Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) and housing investments by SIM Sudety.
