Monk Jazz Club celebrates 10 years in Catania

The Monk Jazz Club in Catania, located within Palazzo Scammacca del Murgo, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a four-day event titled ‘10 Years Together’ from September 10 to 13. The celebration marks a decade since the club's inception on February 17, 2017.

The anniversary program includes the opening of a photographic exhibition titled ‘Echoes. Ten years of jazz at Monk’ by Alessia Spampinato, alongside live performances such as a set by the trio Egápē.

Dino Rubino, president of the Algos association and artistic director of the club, described the decade as intense and expressed satisfaction that the venue continues to operate. Following the anniversary festivities, the club's next season is scheduled to begin on October 9.
