Monção e Melgaço Granfondo returns for 8th edition

The 8th edition of the Monção e Melgaço Granfondo is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 20. The event begins and ends in Monção, featuring routes through mountainous terrain, rivers, and Alvarinho vineyards.

Participants can choose from three cycling distances: a 57 km Minifondo, a 93 km Mediofondo, and a 123 km Granfondo. The event also includes a dedicated stage for youth on September 19, with adapted difficulties and free registration. Additionally, a walking route will be held on September 20 starting from Largo da Estação.

According to the Municipality of Monção, only 200 cycling registration spots remain available.
