Monop’ grocery store to close in Guérande, France

The Monop’ grocery store in Guérande, France, is scheduled to close its doors on October 22. Located on Rue Benjamin Le Tilly near the town's ramparts, the 460-square-meter food-focused outlet had only been open since 2023.

Despite positive feedback regarding the staff, the store reportedly struggled to find its audience. The closure affects five employees, who will be offered mobility opportunities within the Monoprix group, including positions in Nantes or other locations across France.

The location was previously occupied by the ‘Droguerie de l’Atantique’. While this specific Monop’ branch is closing, the Monoprix store in Saint-Nazaire remains operational.
