Monopoli finds scoring depth and defensive stability

Monopoli is finding scoring contributions from various positions as they prepare for their upcoming derby against Casarano. While the team awaits more consistent production from its strikers, Cristian Cerretti recently scored in a 2-2 draw against Crotone, demonstrating versatility in both defensive and midfield roles.

Goalkeeper Michele Tommasi has also emerged as a reliable figure, establishing a reputation for penalty saves after successful performances in both the Coppa Italia and league play. Ahead of the match at Capozza, the team faces tactical decisions regarding its midfield formation, specifically whether to utilize Luca Garritano, Alessandro Cortinovis, or a combination of both in a 3-4-2-1 system.
