Monopoli to host mental health awareness event

Monopoli will host a two-day event titled ‘Non è vero, ma ci credo’ on October 9 and 10, 2026, to observe World Mental Health Day. The initiative aims to break prejudices and promote a culture of listening, inclusion, and awareness.

The program includes workshops, meetings with authors, and theatrical performances involving students, citizens, and professionals. Scheduled activities include sessions with writer Fabio Macaluso, who will discuss his experiences with bipolar disorder, and writer Fuani Marino. The second day will feature an encounter with author Daniele Mencarelli at Teatro Radar, moderated by Macaluso and Paola Clemente.
