Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains video game launches worldwide

Lucasfilm, Ubisoft and Hasbro have released the new board‑game‑style video game Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains. The title, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC and cloud platforms, reunites original trilogy icons Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia with characters from across the Star Wars saga, each equipped with unique abilities that affect gameplay.

The game features a custom Monopoly board, stylized CG animation and team‑based mechanics that let players combine heroes and villains to influence each match. While non‑canonical, the release offers fans the first recent on‑screen reunion of the classic trio since their appearances in the Disney+ series and films.
