MonotaRO receives appreciation for three years of food bank donations

MonotaRO has received a letter of appreciation from the Kawanishi City Social Welfare Council for its three years of continuous food bank donations.

Working in collaboration with the social welfare councils of Kawanishi City and Inagawa Town in Hyogo Prefecture, the company has conducted four donation activities per year. These donations consist of various beverages and food items that, while still within their expiration dates, became unsellable due to reasons such as damaged outer packaging.

These supplies serve as emergency food for people in need, helping to bridge the approximately two-week gap before public assistance is officially determined. Between September 2023 and August 2026, the cumulative donations totaled approximately 650 items, weighing roughly 6.8 tons across 12 total donation sessions for both municipalities.
