Monseñor Ovidio Pérez Morales demands political reforms in Venezuela
Monseñor Ovidio Pérez Morales, the emeritus Archbishop of Los Teques and former president of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference (CEV), has issued a formal demand for political, social, and economic reforms in Venezuela.
Through a statement on social media, the prominent religious leader outlined five priority demands to restore democratic and institutional guarantees: the release of political prisoners, the holding of presidential elections, an end to communication hegemony, the restoration of freedom of expression, and the implementation of effective economic policies to combat widespread poverty.
