Monsignor Gustavo Rodríguez Vega delivers homily for Bible Week

During the twenty-fifth Sunday of Ordinary Time, Monsignor Gustavo Rodríguez Vega delivered a homily addressing spiritual service and the importance of the Holy Scriptures. The occasion also marks the beginning of Bible Week within the Archdiocese of Yucatán.

Reflecting on the writings of Saint Paul to the Philippians, the homily explores the tension between the desire for spiritual peace in death and the commitment to continuing apostolic work to strengthen the faith of others. The message emphasizes the value of life and the responsibility to care for both one's own life and the lives of others.
