Monsoon activity increases across Haryana and Vidarbha
The monsoon has become active again in Haryana, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, and surrounding areas over the next three days. Other districts, including Ambala, Karnal, Panipat, and Sonipat, are expected to see light to moderate rain. While southern and central Haryana may experience scattered showers, rainfall activity is predicted to decrease by August 24.
In the Vidarbha region, specifically Nagpur, cloudy skies and intermittent rain have persisted for several days. Recent rainfall has led to a drop in temperatures, with Nagpur recording a maximum temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius. The weather department forecasts light to moderate rain across various parts of Vidarbha over the next two days, with heavy rain possible in parts of Gondia and Gadchiroli.
