MONSTA X releases new EP ‘The Phase’

K-pop group MONSTA X has released their new EP, ‘The Phase’, marking 12 years since their debut. The album, released on September 4, features six tracks designed to showcase the group’s evolving identity through various energies, attitudes, and emotional textures rather than a single persona.

The title track, ‘MAGIC’, explores the theme of irresistible attraction. The song combines rhythmic electric guitar loops, strong drum beats, intense rap, and powerful vocals. Member Jooheon participated in writing the lyrics, adding a personal touch to the track. The accompanying music video utilizes cinematic techniques, including long takes and dynamic camera movements, to create a surreal visual atmosphere.
