Various hiking routes and natural sites are highlighted across different regions, offering diverse experiences for outdoor enthusiasts.
In Anould, a shaded forest path leads to the Roche du Sphinx, a natural site at an altitude of approximately 560 meters. The route includes a picnic area and provides views over the town of Anould and the Meurthe Valley.
In the Thyon region, a trek through Mont Rouge features alpine lakes, such as the Gouilles d’Essertze and Gouille Rion, and offers views from a 2,500-meter ridge. The area is noted for its alpine fauna, including griffon vultures and various bird species.
An alternative route to the Tour de Sénèque begins at the Col de Santa Lucia. This well-maintained trail follows a watershed ridge, providing views of the Luri valley, the island of Elba, and occasionally Italy.
