Mont-Saint-Michel investigation game celebrates 10th anniversary

The 10th edition of the investigation game ‘Les Mystères du Mont-Saint-Michel’ will take place over two days on October 3 and 4, 2026. Organized by the Brittany-based company GNome Prod, the event allows participants to explore the heritage and history of the Mont-Saint-Michel village in Normandy.

This year’s theme, ‘Liberté Chérie,’ is set in 1792 and focuses on the tensions between Chouans and revolutionaries. Players, ideally in teams of six, will spend approximately three hours solving riddles guided by actors stationed throughout the site. The narrative centers on a prisoner, Mathurin Levebvre, held in the former abbey, as teams attempt to uncover his true identity and history.
