Las Médulas Autumn Festival concludes second edition

The second edition of the Autumn Festival in Las Médulas has concluded, offering seven shows across various locations in the El Bierzo region. Director Raúl Gómez described the edition as positive, noting successful public response and the inclusion of new administrative collaborators.

The festival, promoted by Fabularia Teatro, utilizes theater, music, and circus to combat rural depopulation and attract spectators to the area. While the Junta de Castilla y León remains the primary sponsor and the Diputación de León has recently joined through the Instituto Leonés de Cultura, organizers are seeking greater involvement from local municipalities.

Specifically, the organization has called for more active participation from towns such as Carucedo, Borrenes, and Puente de Domingo Flórez, as well as more complicity from the UNED Sustainable Territories and Local Development Chair in Ponferrada to ensure the event's long-term consolidation.
