Montalto Uffugo hosts ‘Fiaccola della Pace’ procession

The association ‘San Nicola Culla dell’olio’, with the patronage of the City of Montalto Uffugo, organized the ‘Fiaccola della Pace’ (Torch of Peace) on October 3. The initiative involved a procession that traveled through all the hamlets of the municipal territory to promote a message of peace and community unity.

The relay began at the Church of San Nicola and passed through various locations, including Pianette, Taverna, Montalto Scalo, Settimo, Lucchetta, and Madonna delle Grazie. The event featured moments of prayer, symbolic torch lighting, and community gatherings involving local clergy, youth groups, and residents.
