Montana hosts inaugural ‘Thread of Generations’ festival

The inaugural ‘Nishkata na pokoleniyata’ (Thread of Generations) festival has launched in the Montana region. The event serves as a unique merger of two established traditions: the ‘Babina dushitsa’ regional folk cuisine festival and the ‘Alley of the Book’ organized by the Union of Young Writers.

During the opening ceremony, Mihaela Dotova, Chairperson of the National Assembly, emphasized that the festival demonstrates how regional traditions can be preserved and integrated with the creative energy of modern poets and writers. She expressed her gratitude to local officials, including Montana Governor Ivan Kamenov and Mayor Zlatko Zhivkov, for promoting the Northwest region and its cultural heritage.
