Montana State overcomes deficit to beat Central Connecticut 35-30

Montana State overcame a 14-point deficit to defeat Central Connecticut State 35-30 in their first meeting on Saturday. Adam Jones led the Bobcats' comeback, rushing for 112 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

With the victory, the Bobcats move to a 4-0 record and extend their program-best winning streak to 18 games. Central Connecticut State, which fell to 0-3, held a 21-7 lead early in the third quarter following a touchdown run by Brett Griffis and a 42-yard fumble return by Navon Mitchell.

Montana State quarterback Justin Lamson contributed two touchdown passes to tie the game before Jones secured the lead. Central Connecticut's Brett Griffis threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
