The Montana State University volleyball team secured a 3-2 victory against North Dakota State in a five-set match held at Shroyer Gym. The game drew a record-setting crowd of 1,155 fans, the highest season-opening attendance during head coach Matt Houk’s tenure.

Following this performance, the University of Portland Pilots are scheduled to participate in the Bobcat Invitational in Bozeman, Montana. The tournament features the Pilots facing North Dakota State on Friday, September 11, followed by a match against the Montana State Bobcats on Saturday, September 12.
