Montceau fishing competition for ages 55+ scheduled for October 8

The Gaule Montcellienne and CDPS 71 are organizing a fishing competition for enthusiasts aged 55 and over on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Montceau. The event will take place on the Canal du Centre, opposite the Lucy power plant.

The competition serves as a qualifying round for the CDPS 71 Challenge for those over 55. Fishing is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, following a communal meal at 11:30 AM.

Participants must adhere to FFP Sed regulations, which include a ban on reels and a rod length limit of 11.50 meters. Rankings will be determined by weight within specific sectors. Registrations, which include the meal, must be completed in advance through Jean-Marc Goury, as no on-site registrations will be permitted.
